Browse by category
If you want to browse through our catalogue, click on the Browse by Category link at the top of the Side Menu and you will be able to choose the topics that most interest you. You will find the books in each category organised in alphabetical order.
Use the search engine
You can search by book title, author's name, ISBN number with or without hyphens, or by appropriate keyword. Using the ISBN is the most efficient way to locate a specific title.
If you use more than one keyword in your search, the site will offer you all the books that contain any of the keywords. It is therefore best to avoid words that are likely to appear in a large number of book entries, such as 'guide', 'complete' or 'book'.
We have tried to make sure that you will find all the relevant books, whatever search terms you enter. However, it is worth remembing that search engines will take you literally; so ask for 'slow cook', to make sure you find both 'slow cooker' and 'slow cooking'. All books are listed in alphabetical order. Simply scroll through the titles to find the book you want.
Since January 2007, all books are identified by a 13-digit ISBN instead of the old 10-digit ISBN. For all books published before January 2007, you will continue to be able to search by either number, even though the ISBN-10s no longer appear on the site. You can key in the number either with or without hyphens.
